Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students

Saint Michael’s College is proud to offer generous merit scholarships (up to $30,000) to international students with strong academic profiles. All international applicants are automatically considered for merit-based aid. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide need-based aid to non-US citizens and very few merit scholarships will cover the full cost of a Saint Michael’s education. For students recruited by coaches, some athletic aid may be available.

Merit scholarships range from $15,000 to $30,000 per year and are renewable for up to four years.

Awards are determined based on information submitted with your admission application, including school grades and academic rigor, essay, extracurricular activities and letters of recommendation. Standardized test scores (SAT, ACT) are not required for scholarship consideration or admission.

International Baccalaureate Students

In recognition of academic excellence, IB Diploma candidates qualify for a minimum of $18,000 per year in total Saint Michael’s College merit scholarship awards. For students who do not complete the diploma, scores in IB courses of 4 or higher will have a positive impact on scholarship awards. In addition to scholarships, Saint Michael’s College offers a comprehensive admission policy for IB students.

There is no additional application required for merit scholarships.

Because need-based aid is not offered, Saint Michael’s College does not require or accept the CSS Profile or the International Student Financial Aid Application. (US citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to file the FAFSA.)

International students on an F1 visa may work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week on campus during the academic semester. On-campus jobs are limited. International students are not permitted to work off campus.
